IN LOS ANGELES
I want to thank all artists for bringing life to Dante
Alighieri's magnificent work Dante's Inferno based on
The Divine Comedy. I also want to thank all special
guests - director David Sereda, Italian Film Commissioner
Anna Sannito and publicist Freddy Krepistman.
We made history on September 30th, 2006 in not only
having auditions for Dante's Inferno after almost 100
years of being produced as a true epic, but also for
moving this unique project forward to change humankind
forever. You already are part of the process for filling
up my spirit in sweetness, careness and admiration for
Dante's work.

Your script of Dante's journey with Virgil as his guide
is destined to be a major film event. The production
of this film is by no means a small undertaking, but
knowing your dedication and conviction I sense your
journey won't be that hard.

I have been deeply blessed and honoured to experience
a glimpse of this adventure since Spring 06. Thank you
so kindly for being an answer to my prayer. As you know,
my prayerful mission is to impact and inspire audiences
through the art of storytelling on film. Thank you for
allowing me to be a part of The Divine Comedy. I really
believe it will be an epic film that will touch viewer's
lives for generations to come.
You both ROCK!!! Thank you for the best audition experience
ever! What a supportive and creative environment!!!
The story is written with such precision and the descriptions
of the levels of hell were so vivid that I could feel
the oppression and loss of souls.
May the Lord's hand continue to guide and provide for
the entire production and allow lives worldwide to be
impacted from The Divine Comedy.

Thank you for a wonderful day of interacting with great
people! The audition process was refreshing and fun,
and the table read was great because I really enjoyed
the script. I was pleasantly surprised to get a back
story on Dante and his relationships and his "calling".
Excellent!
I can't wait to play one of the Furies/Eurynies, if
all works out. Really great people involved, all around.
Armand is so personable and sharp! I can tell he would
be great to work with. You are a pearl in this crazy
business! Keep me posted.

Ieri, 30 settembre 2006, sara' un giorno che non dimentichero'
mai piu' nella mia vita (o per quello che mi resta).
Ieri mattina, sia durante la preparazione che durante
l'audizione, ho avvertito prima una forte sensazione
di "possessione" e poi, man mano che il tempo
passava, un vero e proprio sentimento di "ricongiungimento"
con qualcosa o "qualcuno" che sto cercando
con ansia da tutta la vita.
Credo totalmente nel tuo progetto, che e' prima di
tutto una MISSIONE e ti auguro di portarlo a termine
come desideri.

Hi Boris,
I really enjoyed the audition process and table read
on Sat. It was amazing to work with Armand and felt
very rewarding as an actor to work with such wonderful
material.
Words simply cannot express how excited I am about
this project – the prospects of it and the profundity
of the work consume my thoughts all day long –
I really think it will be something great, and I think
anyone involved in the project knows (or should know)
that their life will be deeply affected by it, and more
importantly, so will the people watching the film!!!!!!

Dear Boris,
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed working
with Armand and the lovely group of people that you
selected for the project. I so enjoyed the direction
via Armand during the audition, and finally hearing
your script was facinating!
I found that reading the books and translations on line
to be very "heavy and unsettling", due to
the subject matter. Then, hearing it through your script
brought even more life to the story. I so appreciated
the other actors interpretations of their characters,
especially in a completely "cold reading"
situation.
Anyway, I wish you continued success with your film,
and thank you again for inviting me to be a part of
your "film history"! Also, thank you for putting
on such a lovely party that evening. Again, spending
time with such a nice group of people was an added bonus!

This story is so intense and phenomenal! Overall Dino
has captured so many remarkable moments, taking the
essence of the original poem and creating a beautiful
story that I know will be an incredible film! There
are many wonderful characters and the interactions between
them are immensely strong. Visually, Dino has created
an extraordinary setting and numerous fantastic moments
for actors to develop and bring to life!
It’s going to be an amazing experience when
we get to live the characters and the story, and in
the end, see it on the big screen! What a journey! I
thoroughly enjoyed reading the script and to be a part
of the history that we made during the auditions!
